1. Manage the adoption of SAP, Blackline, and other global finance transformation initiatives.
2. Provide reliable reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring compliance with local financial statement requirements.
3. Collaborate with EMEA and worldwide financial shared services teams to implement global finance transformation initiatives locally.
4. Lead efforts towards continuous accounting and expedited monthly closings, aiming to reduce closing time by 50%.
5. Monitor and improve the quality of monthly closings in collaboration with brand and regional finance teams.
6. Organize team roles to enhance process expertise and improve financial reporting efficiency.
7. Maintain SAP analytical structures for UK entities in alignment with the group model.
8. Support UK market brand management with financial insights and expertise on local activities.
9. Manage month-end reporting submissions in HFM, ensuring accuracy and data quality.
10. Respond to divisional queries and support daily finance operations with divisional finance teams.
11. Ensure compliant filing of local statutory financial statements and respond to audit requests.
12. Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
13. Conduct coaching and performance reviews.
14. Foster strong relationships with brand finance to ensure high service levels from the shared service center.

1. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with over 10 years of experience in audit or retail.
2. Experience in shared services or complex matrix organizations.
3. Proven track record in leading finance process improvements and system implementations.
4. Proficiency with SAP and HFM.
5. Strong IT and process orientation, with working knowledge of Power BI.
6. Understanding of retail lease accounting (IFRS16) and general retail business.
