- Manage the adoption of SAP, Blackline, and other global finance transformation initiatives.
- Provide reliable reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring compliance with local financial statement requirements.
- Collaborate with EMEA and worldwide financial shared services teams to implement global finance transformation initiatives locally.
- Lead efforts towards continuous accounting and expedited monthly closings, aiming to reduce closing time by 50%.
- Monitor and improve the quality of monthly closings in collaboration with brand and regional finance teams.
- Organize team roles to enhance process expertise and improve financial reporting efficiency.
- Maintain SAP analytical structures for UK entities in alignment with the group model.
- Support UK market brand management with financial insights and expertise on local activities.
- Manage month-end reporting submissions in HFM, ensuring accuracy and data quality.
- Respond to divisional queries and support daily finance operations with divisional finance teams.
- Ensure compliant filing of local statutory financial statements and respond to audit requests.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Conduct coaching and performance reviews.
- Foster strong relationships with brand finance to ensure high service levels from the shared service center.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with over 10 years of experience in audit or retail.
- Experience in shared services or complex matrix organizations.
- Proven track record in leading finance process improvements and system implementations.
- Proficiency with SAP and HFM.
- Strong IT and process orientation, with working knowledge of Power BI.
- Understanding of retail lease accounting (IFRS16) and general retail business.
