Responsibilities
- Develop and ensure consistency in all LINDBERG training materials.
- Manage and coordinate internal and external opticians concerning academies and labs globally.
- Create and oversee the annual training plan for LINDBERG academies, including both physical and digital training sessions.
- Support in-house opticians in teaching and further personal development.
- Coordinate and set standards for lab training.
- Conduct training courses within relevant subject areas as needed.
- Host physical training academies when required.
- Coordinate certification programs for participants at events.
- Provide ad hoc support to the training team as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a technical training professional in the lens industry
- Expertise and in-depth knowledge of lenses, eyewear products, and lab procedures
- Familiar with wholesale channel
Skills
- Proficiency in creating training materials and advanced PowerPoint expertise with proven graphic skills
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods as well as learning digital tools
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strongly focused on results and respectful of deadlines
- Strong project management skills
- Strong team player and excellent communicator with entrepreneurship autonomy and problem-solving skills
- Availability to travel extensively (90%)
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a technical training professional in the lens industry.
Compensation
Salary Range - $80,000-$90,000
