- Lead, mentor, and coach brand ambassadors to achieve their highest potential through consistent training and goal planning.
- Drive and maximize sales performance to consistently achieve overall sales budget objectives while ensuring operational integrity and monitoring monthly profitability.
- Implement company strategies by motivating and supporting sales brand ambassador teams.
- Support proper routing and consistent store visits; co-travel 3-4 days per week with sales brand ambassadors.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers, maintaining a strong market presence and conducting client visits regularly.
- Enhance sales company processes as needed, liaising with all involved departments.
- Develop and implement business plans for top customers, based on structured targets and investment needs.
- Monitor KPIs regarding productivity, sales, and customer service to identify opportunities and create strategic action plans to sustain growth.
- Track sales and status reports by brand ambassador, building and executing recovery plans.
- Analyze sales/business to identify trends and opportunities, developing strategic action plans with the team of brand ambassadors in collaboration with other functions.
- Evaluate distribution and identify elevation opportunities.
- Provide bottom-up forecasting and implement strategies for gap closure.
- Actively search and understand market competition with a focus on gaining market share.
- Provide comprehensive reporting to management with strategic content.
- Drive forecast planning process for the district; provide bottom-up forecasting and implement strategies for gap closure.
- Promote brand awareness, establish market/store presence, and capture competitive market share.
- Drive and deliver on local, regional, and national selling events.
- Demonstrate effective managerial competencies: team building, coaching, lead change initiatives; enforce synergy and teamwork.
- Continuously monitor sales brand ambassador teams and provide constructive feedback on performance, selling ceremony, customer service, in-store presence, etc.
- Partner with Regional VP and Human Resources on complex employee relations issues and escalate as needed.
- Partner with the Regional VP and HR on the annual performance review process and compensation review process for the district.
- Attract, recruit, and retain a high-performing team. Build a talent pipeline through networking.
- Ensure a consistent and branded onboarding experience for new hires.
- Collaborate with the training department on new product and service trainings.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management, with experience in a district role.
- Experience within healthcare/eyecare industries, outdoor brands, fashion, luxury, cosmetics, and/or consumer goods environments.
- High degree of ethics and integrity.
- Strong business acumen and highly analytical.
- Proven track record of growing sales and building door distribution among optical, optometrist, ophthalmologist, sunglass, and lifestyle retailers.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strategic and focused on end results.
- Decisive and collaborative in developing strategies.
- Flexible, adaptable, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to quickly assess and anticipate needs and provide the highest quality of service.
