Kering Eyewear District Director
Kering Eyewear is a leading luxury eyewear company and part of the Kering Group, a global luxury conglomerate that develops renowned brands in fashion, leather goods, and jewelry. Founded in 2014, Kering Eyewear designs, develops, and distributes eyewear for a diverse portfolio of 13 brands, including LINDBERG, Maui Jim, Gucci, Cartier, and Saint Laurent.
- Lead, mentor, and coach brand ambassadors to achieve their highest potential through consistent training and goal planning.
- Drive and maximize sales performance to consistently achieve sales budget objectives while ensuring operational integrity.
- Support proper routing and consistent store visits; co-travel with sales brand ambassadors.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers, maintaining a strong market presence.
- Contribute to the enhancement of sales company processes and liaise with all departments involved.
- Build and implement business plans for top customers based on structured targets and investment needs.
- Monitor KPIs regarding productivity, sales, and customer service to identify opportunities and create strategic action plans.
- Track sales and status reports by brand ambassador and execute recovery plans.
- Analyze sales/business trends and develop strategic action plans.
- Evaluate distribution and identify elevation opportunities.
- Provide bottom-up forecasting and implement strategies for gap closure.
- Actively search and understand market competition to gain market share.
- Promote brand awareness and establish market/store presence.
- Drive and deliver on local, regional, and national selling events.
- Demonstrate effective managerial competencies and enforce synergy and teamwork.
- Partner with Regional VP and HR on complex employee relations issues and performance reviews.
- Attract, recruit, and retain a high-performing team and build a talent pipeline.
- Ensure a consistent and branded onboarding experience for new hires.
- Collaborate with the training department on new product and service trainings.
- Experience of at least 7 years in sales management, with experience in a district role.
- Experience within healthcare/eyecare industries, outdoor brands, fashion, luxury, cosmetics, and/or consumer goods environments.
- Operates with a high degree of ethics and integrity.
- Strong business acumen and highly analytical.
- Proven track record of growing sales and building door distribution among optical, optometrist, ophthalmologist, sunglass, and lifestyle retailers.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strategic and focused on end results.
- Decisive and collaborates with a team to develop strategies.
- Flexible, adaptable, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.
- Extremely well organized with excellent project management skills.
- Ability to quickly assess and anticipate needs and provide high-quality service.
- Experience managing business-to-business relationships.
At least 7 years in sales management, with experience in a district role, preferably within healthcare/eyecare industries, outdoor brands, fashion, luxury, cosmetics, and/or consumer goods environments.
