Kering Eyewear Area Sales Manager

- Manage and develop business relationships with opticians, regional department stores, and independent customers.
- Drive sales and achieve budget targets by building a qualitative distribution network.
- Evaluate new customers for brand suitability and launch potential.
- Ensure brand integrity and proper in-store presentation according to merchandising standards.
- Research and target new customer opportunities.
- Plan effective store visits to achieve key performance indicators.
- Conduct brand presentations and sell-in new collections.
- Provide in-store training to retailer's sales staff on brands, products, and marketing activities.
- Ensure adequate stock levels and support stock management processes.
- Implement trade marketing activities in collaboration with the trade marketing team.
- Collect and manage sell-out reports and customer orders.
- Ensure visual merchandising aligns with distribution strategy and manage Point of Sale marketing material.
- Negotiate and optimize brand presence in stores, including window displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and manage order and delivery follow-through.
- Assist the Finance department with invoice and credit note queries.
- Handle client commercial returns in line with corporate policy.
- More than 2 years of experience in sales roles within the optical industry.
- Optical degree from an optical store or laboratory is advantageous but not required.
- Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
- Possession of a full clean driving license.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Sales-driven mindset with business expansion capabilities.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Organizational skills to manage and improve sales processes.
A minimum of two years in sales roles within the optical industry is required.
An optical degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
