Kering Director of Transportation

- Lead, coach, and develop a team to align with organizational and brand objectives.
- Shape and communicate strategies for transportation, international trade, and duty optimization.
- Collaborate with regional and central leadership to align strategies with global logistics objectives.
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on compliance, improvement, and operational excellence.
- Maintain classification database and compliance procedures across all brands.
- Manage customs broker relationships and oversee customs entry files.
- Support drawback claims, reconciliation, and protests; document and resolve trade issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of imports, exports, and clearance documentation.
- Lead audit processes and support CTPAT; generate duty reporting for Finance.
- Track regulatory changes and lead business adaptation efforts.
- Oversee transportation flows from origin to final delivery.
- Manage third-party relationships and drive continuous improvement through technology and cost optimization.
- Build and manage KPIs across trade compliance and transportation functions.
- Analyze data to provide actionable insights and inform senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Customs Broker’s License or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in Import/Export, Customs Brokerage/Freight Forwarding
- Knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Classification System and Import/Export requirements
- Experience with US Customs & Border Protection or equivalent in Supply Chain Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work effectively and independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- SAP experience is a plus
8-10 years of experience in Import/Export, Customs Brokerage/Freight Forwarding, including knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Classification System and US Customs & Border Protection.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
$140,000 - $160,000 per year plus incentives
