Kering DATA Tech Lead

1. Facilitate communication and synchronization between Tech Leads and squads across multiple data domains to ensure shared understanding of priorities, dependencies and risks.
2. Drive harmonization of engineering and analytics practices, promoting chapter-wide standards for code quality, observability, documentation and delivery.
3. Coordinate and follow up on transversal initiatives (engineering foundations, tooling, quality improvements), monitoring progress and escalating risks to chapter leadership.
4. Centralize and consolidate cross-squad information to provide clear visibility to leadership and to align engineering execution with business priorities.
5. Enable people and leadership development by supporting Tech Leads, fostering a community of Analytics Engineering, and encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

1. Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Senior Engineer, or Engineering Manager within data or software engineering environments.
2. Deep understanding of data engineering and analytics concepts, including datalake, data warehouse and distributed data platform patterns (Data Mesh).
3. Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT development, data modeling and working with databases such as Oracle and BigQuery.
4. Strong expertise in GCP data services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Airflow) and hands‑on experience with DBT.
5. Demonstrated ability to coordinate across teams and domains without hierarchical authority; excellent communication and facilitation skills.
6. Experience in agile@scale environments and familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
7. Fluency in English and Italian; organized, proactive, empathetic and comfortable in a leadership posture.

Proven track record as a Tech Lead, Senior Engineer, or Engineering Manager in data or software engineering contexts, with experience coordinating cross-team delivery, managing dependencies and working in agile@scale environments.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
