Kering Chargeback Analyst

- Conduct comprehensive reviews of chargebacks related to coop, returns, shortages, pricing, discounts, and restocking fees for assigned accounts, primarily Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.
- Research and dispute invalid claims while issuing credits for valid cooperative agreements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve chargeback issues and ensure advertising and cooperative spending align with budgetary constraints.
- Prepare general ledger entries for resolved chargeback items.
- Manage Neiman Marcus quarterly settlements by consolidating and recording outstanding issues, submitting necessary documentation, and negotiating settlement terms.
- Maintain and update the vendor compliance spreadsheet, ensuring timely communication with Customer Service, Finance, and MIS departments.
- Assist in collection activities by contacting customers regarding overdue invoices and preparing necessary reports and documentation.
- Support internal and external audits and participate in special projects as assigned by management.
- 3-5 years of experience in a retail environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and follow-up abilities
- Detail-oriented with a curiosity to learn
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with SAP is advantageous
3-5 years of general experience in a retail environment, with a focus on financial and chargeback analysis.
