- Manage daily accounting operations for German retail companies within the group.
- Prepare financial statements and analyze financial data.
- Participate in monthly and annual closing tasks for German entities.
- Prepare monthly reports including balance sheets and income statements.
- Prepare statutory financial statements and track statutory adjustments.
- Manage fixed assets and review taxation including VAT, CVAE, IS, and support transfer pricing calculations.
- Coordinate with German tax experts on fiscal matters.
- Ensure end-of-month and end-of-year account justifications and controls.
- Act as a primary contact for brand controllers, external auditors, and tax services.
- Participate in process improvement projects within the R2R stream.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments for effective communication and coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Control, Audit, or Finance (DCG) or Master's degree (DSCG).
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a general accountant, preferably in a shared service environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ability to apply local and international accounting standards.
- Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
- Organizational and analytical skills.
- Dynamic with strong adaptability.
- Teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
3 to 5 years of experience as a general accountant, ideally within a shared service center.
