- Manage daily accounting operations for German retail entities within the Group.
- Prepare financial statements and analyze financial data.
- Participate in monthly, semi-annual, and annual closing tasks.
- Prepare statutory reports and manage statutory adjustments.
- Oversee fixed asset management and review taxation (VAT, CVAE, IS).
- Coordinate with German tax experts for fiscal consolidation.
- Ensure month-end and year-end account justifications and controls.
- Liaise with brand controllers, external auditors, and fiscal services for audit compliance.
- Monitor and harmonize R2R processes for the German scope.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
- Serve as the accounting subject matter expert for the German scope.
- Collaborate with treasury and brand controlling teams for effective communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (DCG or Master in Accounting/Control/Audit/Finance DSCG).
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a general accountant, preferably in a shared service environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ability to apply local and international accounting standards.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; German language skills are advantageous.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Dynamic with adaptability and teamwork capabilities.
- Interest in ERP systems.
3 to 5 years of experience as a general accountant, ideally within a shared service center.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
