1. Manage daily accounting operations for German retail companies within the group.
2. Prepare financial statements and analyze financial data.
3. Participate in monthly and annual closing tasks for German entities.
4. Prepare monthly reports including balance sheets and income statements.
5. Prepare statutory financial statements and track statutory adjustments.
6. Manage fixed assets and review taxation including VAT, CVAE, IS, and support transfer pricing calculations.
7. Coordinate with German tax experts on fiscal matters.
8. Ensure end-of-month and end-of-year account justifications and controls.
9. Act as a primary contact for brand controllers, external auditors, and tax services.
10. Participate in process improvement projects within the R2R stream.
11. Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
12. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
13. Collaborate with other departments for effective communication and coordination.

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Control, Audit, or Finance (DCG) or Master's degree (DSCG).
2. 3 to 5 years of experience as a general accountant, preferably in a shared service environment.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ability to apply local and international accounting standards.
4. Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
