Kendo Senior Social Marketing Manager

- Lead the development of Fenty Beauty's social media strategy, creating a blueprint for branded social channels to express the brand and support business goals.
- Drive brand awareness and introduce Fenty Beauty to new audiences while building engagement and loyalty within the customer base.
- Define the role of each social media channel.
- Develop and execute a best-in-class organic social strategy across all platforms, including platform strategy, content strategy, community management, campaign planning, and social calendars.
- Collaborate with global partners to establish Fenty Beauty as a global brand on owned and retailer social channels.
- Create, deliver, and continuously evolve the 'global brand social playbook.'
- Employ a test, learn, scale strategic mindset to optimize owned social media.
- Identify and proactively pursue social innovation across reporting, content, and strategy.
- Partner with e-commerce and retail marketing teams to support direct sales-driving initiatives.
- Manage the annual organic social budget, including forecasting, planning, and tracking.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner cross-functionally with Creative, Brand Management, eCommerce, and international teams.
- Share best practices and implications of platform updates with broader groups.
- 7+ years of experience in social media marketing, with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring a team.
- Passion for the beauty industry and social media.
- Proven track record/portfolio of ideating and delivering social campaigns that drive impactful results.
- Ability to analyze data and deliver actionable insights.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
- Strong creative eye for disruptive content that translates to beauty.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Flexible and positive attitude; able to work independently and within teams and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Curious mindset with a passion for continuously testing, learning, and pushing boundaries.
- Familiarity with social media management tools: analytics and scheduling platforms (e.g., Dash Hudson).
- Experience with community management and social engagement.
- Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, brand tone, and voice.

Minimum of 7 years in social media marketing with progressive responsibility, including team leadership and strategic campaign development.
The salary range for this position is $124,000 - $150,000 per year based on a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location.
