- Develop and implement a comprehensive people-focused strategy to support a thriving retail organization, driving change management and development strategies for People Leaders and Store Teams.
- Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, fostering an inclusive environment and ensuring equitable experiences across the organization.
- Serve as an advisor throughout the Employee Life Cycle, from Onboarding to Career Development, Employee Relations, Culture/Engagement, and Offboarding.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and collaborate with management to develop innovative solutions.
- Provide HR expertise in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and development.
- Collaborate with business leaders to build engaged, high-performing teams and prepare bi-weekly talent summaries for leadership.
- Deliver complex messages effectively and determine appropriate communication channels.
- Advise on HR policies and procedures, providing coaching and disciplinary strategies on employee relations issues.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify opportunities and support timely talent searches.
- Collaborate with Talent Development to create training resources and guide managers on performance management and personal development plans.
- Work with Total Rewards to manage compensation, benefits, and leaves administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 7+ years of HR experience in a complex business environment.
- Experience in a rapid growth retail environment, preferably appointment-based.
- Experience in multi-state, multi-unit organizations with hourly and salaried employees.
- International support experience, especially in Canada, is a plus.
- Ability to resolve problems using judgment consistent with company culture and employment law.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, balancing multiple requirements and expectations.
- Comfortable managing a high-volume workload and willing to "roll up sleeves."
- Agility in handling ambiguity and competing priorities in a high-growth environment.
- Strategic mindset to craft and execute a people-focused vision.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources within a complex business environment, with a focus on retail and multi-state operations.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
The salary range for this position is $131,000 – $145,000 per year based on the San Francisco location. Compensation includes an annual bonus.
