Kendo Retail Counter Manager

Kendo Holdings, Inc. is a San Francisco-based beauty brand developer and wholesaler owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton, the world’s largest luxury group. Kendo is known for its creativity and next-generation beauty product development for global Sephora channels and selective retailers outside of Sephora. The Kendo house of brands includes Bite, Kat Von D, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Ole Henriksen, and Fenty Beauty.

1. Manage, inspire, and motivate a team of full/part-time Makeup Artists, including staffing rotation schedules and coaching of sales and artistry skills.
2. Set individual sales goals and lead the team to create a flawless customer experience.
3. Build and implement an effective clientele program to drive loyalty and sales.
4. Create in-store activations and clientele programs aligned with the brand calendar.
5. Build strong relationships with Store management and within Kendo to drive business results.
6. Develop and refine the sales, artistry, and customer service skills of the team.
7. Model respect, initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility, representing the brand professionally.

1. Previous experience working in a luxury store environment.
2. At least 2 years of retail experience at the same level managing an account.
3. Experience in building and executing clientele strategy.
4. Ability to lead, develop, and motivate staff, including conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
