Kendo Associate Manager, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

- Establish and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with internal partners to drive DEIB initiatives.
- Develop and manage team agendas and track upcoming deadlines to ensure timely execution of DEIB programs.
- Assist with the collection and analysis of data to evaluate the effectiveness of DEIB courses and projects.
- Help execute internal DEIB training and learning events, including logistics coordination and material preparation.
- Support the development and implementation of DEIB programs and strategies.
- Draft and design DEIB-related communications and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Capture and assemble updates and stories on DEIB progress for monthly updates and reports.
- Align on program dates with key stakeholders and update the master communications calendar.
- Schedule and block out DEIB team event calendars for content creation, run-through meetings, and event preparation.
- Send calendar invites to vendors, speakers, key stakeholders, and leaders; reserve rooms if needed.
- Draft and finalize the Run of Show (ROS) and create post-event surveys.
- Share vendor forms with speakers/talent and collect necessary promotional materials.
- Source and coordinate catering, videographers, photographers, and other event-related vendors.
- Determine and manage volunteers and support staff for events.
- Create and share roles and responsibilities documents, conduct prep calls, and ensure readiness for events.
- Track and update all event expenses and DEIB volunteering metrics.
- Create and send event invites, marketing materials, and creative assets for DEIB events.
- Creatively design engaging internal/external communication for placement on intranet and LinkedIn.
- Share final updated ROS, speaker logistics, and Zoom backgrounds with speakers and internal teams.
- Send follow-up thank you emails to speakers and manage gratis/shipping logistics.
- Create Zoom registrations, confirm event details, and manage Zoom logistics for events.
- Conduct event debriefs, draft event recaps, and share with key stakeholders.
- Schedule internal debrief meetings and complete expense reports.
- Update training/programming trackers and wrap up total budget spent for events.
- Collect and organize all materials used for events and update inventory sheets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years previous experience coordinating/supporting DEI initiatives or programs
- Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities and work within a matrixed organization
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-oriented environment
- Team player with a collaborative approach
Minimum 3 years
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
The salary range for this position is $78,200 - $86,900 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location.
