Kendo Assistant Manager

- Manage, inspire, and motivate a team of Makeup Artists, including scheduling and coaching in sales and artistry skills.
- Lead by example in product knowledge and service, fostering a flawless customer experience and building a loyal clientele.
- Oversee sales goals and payroll investment to meet financial objectives.
- Develop and implement a clientele program to drive loyalty and sales.
- Create in-store activations aligned with the brand calendar to support product launches and key selling periods.
- Strategically build and develop the brand business within the store.
- Cultivate strong relationships with Selfridges management and Kendo to drive business results and implement best practices.
- Continuously develop and refine the sales, artistry, and customer service skills of the team.
- Manage the tester and samples budget, ensuring timely orders to support business needs.
- Model respect, initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility, representing the brand professionally and ethically.
- Foster positive, collaborative relationships with team and store partners.
- Maintain excellent personal grooming standards.
- Previous experience in a luxury store environment.
- High-level makeup artistry background.
- Minimum of 2 years of retail experience at a similar level or managing a non-flagship account.
- Proven strategic and business acumen.
- Experience in building and executing clientele strategies.
- Leadership skills with conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in forward planning and achieving financial goals.
- Strong customer service, clientele, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills for planning and executing in-store events.
