Kate Spade Store Manager

- Develop and implement business-driving initiatives to foster repeat business and attract new customers.
- Achieve store productivity targets, including sales per hour, average transaction value, and customer capture rate.
- Ensure all associates complete the sales training program and possess strong product knowledge across all categories.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching to ensure the highest level of customer service and sales.
- Achieve financial success by improving measurable statistics that positively impact store performance.
- Hire, train, and motivate a qualified sales team that effectively represents the Kate Spade New York brand.
- Provide development opportunities for the assistant manager and supervisor through accountabilities and training with consistent feedback.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations with quarterly reviews of employee goals.
- Network and create positive community relationships to generate business and build a talent pool for key positions.
- Attend company management meetings as required.
- Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
- Ensure visual merchandising directives are implemented efficiently and standards are maintained.
- Analyze business trends and communicate opportunities to increase sales to the District Leader.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, ensuring operational excellence.
- Conduct regular store meetings to ensure accurate communication with employees.
- Maintain payroll budget and ensure appropriate sales floor coverage.
- Supervise operational responsibilities to maintain inventory integrity.
- Oversee loss prevention policies to ensure compliance.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
- College degree preferred.
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred.
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.
- Decision-making and conflict mediation skills in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
A minimum of three years in a management role within luxury goods or a comparable retail environment is required.
College degree preferred.
