- Develop business initiatives to build repeat business and attract new customers.
- Achieve store productivity targets including sales per hour, average transaction value, and customer capture rate.
- Ensure all associates complete sales training and develop strong product knowledge.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training.
- Achieve financial success through improving store performance statistics.
- Hire, train, and motivate a qualified sales team.
- Provide development for assistant managers and supervisors with consistent feedback.
- Perform annual performance evaluations and quarterly reviews of employee goals.
- Network and create positive community relationships to generate business and brand awareness.
- Attend company management meetings.
- Communicate the brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
- Ensure visual merchandising directives are implemented efficiently.
- Analyze business trends and communicate opportunities to increase sales.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures.
- Conduct regular store meetings for accurate communication with employees.
- Maintain payroll budget and ensure appropriate sales floor coverage.
- Supervise operational responsibilities to maintain inventory integrity.
- Oversee loss prevention policies to ensure compliance.
- Minimum 3 years management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment
- College degree preferred
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills
- Ability to analyze selling reports and react to business needs
- Comfortable making decisions and mediating conflict
- Proficient in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
Minimum 3 years management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
College degree preferred.
