- Develop and implement business-driving initiatives to build repeat business and attract new customers.
- Communicate and achieve store productivity targets, including sales per hour and capture rate.
- Ensure all associates complete the sales training program and develop strong product knowledge.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training processes.
- Achieve financial success through improving measurable statistics impacting store performance.
- Hire, train, and motivate a qualified sales team representing the Kate Spade brand.
- Provide development for assistant managers and supervisors through accountabilities and training.
- Perform annual performance evaluations and quarterly reviews of employee goals.
- Network and create positive community relationships to generate business and build brand awareness.
- Attend annual company management meetings.
- Communicate the Kate Spade brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
- Ensure visual merchandising directives are implemented efficiently and standards maintained.
- Analyze business trends and communicate sell-through, stock levels, and sales opportunities.
- Oversee store opening and closing procedures, including financial transactions and facility security.
- Conduct regular store meetings for consistent employee communication.
- Maintain payroll budgets and adjust store schedules to meet business needs.
- Supervise operational responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate inventory processing.
- Oversee loss prevention policies and ensure 100% compliance.
- Minimum 3 years management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
- College degree preferred.
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred.
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and effective communication with all organizational levels.
- Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.
- Decision-making and conflict mediation within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
A minimum of 3 years in a management role within luxury goods or a comparable retail environment is required.
College degree preferred.
Base pay range from $30.25 to $43.50 hourly.
