1. Develop and implement business-driving initiatives to foster repeat business and attract new customers.
2. Achieve store productivity targets, including sales per hour, average dollar transaction, units per transaction, and capture rate.
3. Ensure all team members complete sales training and develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
4. Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching to ensure the highest level of customer service and sales.
5. Hire, train, and motivate a qualified sales team that effectively represents the Kate Spade New York brand.
6. Provide development opportunities for assistant managers and supervisors through accountability assignments and consistent feedback.
7. Conduct annual performance evaluations with quarterly goal reviews.
8. Network and build positive community relationships to generate business and brand awareness.
9. Attend company management meetings as required.
10. Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
11. Ensure efficient implementation of visual merchandising directives and maintain visual standards.
12. Analyze business trends and communicate opportunities to increase sales to the District Leader.
13. Oversee store opening and closing procedures, including financial transactions and securing the facility.
14. Conduct regular store meetings to ensure accurate communication with employees.
15. Maintain payroll budget and ensure appropriate sales floor coverage.
16. Supervise operational responsibilities, including markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping, and receiving.
17. Ensure compliance with loss prevention policies and procedures.

1. Minimum 3 years of management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
2. College degree preferred.
3. Prior luxury goods experience preferred.

1. Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills.
2. Strong leadership qualities with effective communication across all organizational levels.
3. Ability to analyze selling reports and react quickly to business needs.
4. Decision-making and conflict mediation skills in a team environment.
5. Proficiency in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

A minimum of three years in a managerial role within luxury goods or a comparable retail environment is required.

College degree preferred.
