Kate Spade Store Manager

- Lead and develop clientele by exemplifying relationship-building and proactive outreach to drive personal business trade.
- Initiate and implement business-driving strategies to attract new and repeat customers.
- Ensure associates utilize client books effectively to boost sales, conducting monthly reviews and outreach evaluations.
- Maintain compliance with clientele standards and thank you note policies.
- Oversee the completion of the sales training program by all associates.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching to ensure top-tier customer service and sales.
- Achieve financial success by improving measurable statistics impacting store performance.
- Recruit, train, and motivate a qualified sales team that embodies the Kate Spade brand.
- Provide development opportunities for assistant managers and supervisors through accountability assignments and consistent feedback.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and quarterly goal reviews.
- Network within the community to generate business and brand awareness, building a pipeline of qualified candidates for key positions.
- Attend biannual company management meetings.
- Communicate the Kate Spade brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
- Ensure visual merchandising directives are efficiently implemented and maintained.
- Analyze business trends and communicate opportunities to increase sales to District Leader.
- Oversee operational responsibilities including store opening and closing procedures, payroll budget maintenance, and inventory integrity.
- Ensure compliance with loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
- Prior experience in luxury goods preferred.
- College degree preferred.
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication across all organizational levels.
- Ability to analyze selling reports and react quickly to business needs.
- Decision-making and conflict mediation skills within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
A minimum of three years in a management role within luxury goods or a comparable retail environment is required.
College degree preferred.
