- Develop business initiatives to build repeat business and attract new customers.
- Achieve store productivity targets including sales per hour, average dollar transaction, units per transaction, and capture rate.
- Ensure completion of sales training programs and develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training processes.
- Achieve financial success through improvement of measurable statistics impacting store performance.
- Hire, train, and motivate a qualified sales team.
- Provide development for assistant managers and supervisors with consistent follow-up and feedback.
- Perform annual performance evaluations and quarterly reviews of employee goals.
- Network and create positive relationships in the community to generate business and brand awareness.
- Attend company management meetings.
- Communicate the brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers.
- Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain visual standards.
- Analyze and react to business trends regarding assortment and communicate sell-through and stock levels.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures.
- Conduct regular store meetings for accurate and consistent communication.
- Maintain payroll budget and weekly hours for appropriate sales floor coverage.
- Supervise operational responsibilities for timely and accurate processing of markdowns, transfers, and inventory.
- Oversee loss prevention policies to ensure compliance.
- Minimum 3 years management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment
- College degree preferred
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills
- Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends
- Decision-making and conflict mediation in a team environment
- Proficiency in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
Minimum 3 years management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
College degree preferred.
