- Develop and implement business-driving initiatives to enhance customer retention and acquisition.
- Achieve store productivity targets, including sales per hour and capture rate.
- Ensure comprehensive sales training and product knowledge across all categories for associates and leadership.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching to ensure exemplary customer service and sales.
- Drive financial success by improving measurable statistics impacting store performance.
- Recruit, train, and motivate a qualified sales team that embodies the Kate Spade brand.
- Provide targeted development for assistant managers and supervisors through accountability and feedback.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and quarterly reviews of employee goals.
- Network within the community to generate business and build brand awareness.
- Attend biannual company management meetings.
- Communicate the Kate Spade brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
- Ensure efficient implementation of visual merchandising directives and maintain visual standards.
- Analyze business trends and communicate opportunities to increase sales.
- Oversee store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory integrity, and loss prevention compliance.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
- College degree preferred.
- Prior experience in luxury goods is advantageous.
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication across all organizational levels.
- Ability to analyze selling reports and react swiftly to business needs.
- Decision-making and conflict mediation in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
A minimum of three years in management within luxury goods or a comparable retail environment is required.
College degree preferred.
Base pay range from $38.25 to $50.25 per hour.
