- Partner with the Store Manager to develop initiatives that drive business and attract new customers.
- Communicate and achieve store productivity targets, including sales per hour, average dollar transaction, units per transaction, and capture rate.
- Ensure all associates complete the sales training program and develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training processes to ensure high levels of customer service and sales.
- Achieve personal sales goals and educate the team on sales plans, personal sales goals, and store statistics.
- Foster a team environment by creating a fun, competitive, and inviting atmosphere.
- Understand and communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers.
- Ensure brand and operating standards are met to support brand consistency.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including handling register funds and completing bank deposits.
- Accurately process all POS transactions and inventory functions to maintain inventory integrity.
- Adhere to Kate Spade loss prevention policies and operational procedures.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
- College degree preferred.
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
