- Collaborate with the Store Manager to devise and implement business-driving initiatives that enhance customer retention and acquisition.
- Achieve and communicate store productivity targets, including sales per hour, average dollar transaction, units per transaction, and capture rate.
- Ensure all associates complete the sales training program and develop robust product knowledge across all categories.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training processes to ensure the highest level of customer service and sales.
- Educate the team on sales plans, personal sales goals, and store statistics, driving the team to achieve these metrics.
- Foster a team environment by creating a fun, competitive, and inviting atmosphere.
- Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to both the sales team and customers.
- Ensure brand and operational standards are met to maintain brand consistency and store presentation standards.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and securing the facility.
- Accurately process all POS transactions and inventory functions to maintain inventory integrity.
- Adhere to Kate Spade loss prevention policies and operational procedures.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
- College degree preferred.
- Prior experience in luxury goods is preferred.
