Kate Spade Assistant Store Manager

- Develop and coach the team on proactive client outreach and relationship building.
- Collaborate with the Store Leader to implement business-driving initiatives.
- Ensure associates utilize client books effectively to boost sales.
- Supervise and model the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training.
- Assist with achieving financial success through measurable improvements in store performance.
- Assume the Store Leader role in their absence.
- Lead by example in achieving personal sales goals.
- Educate the team on sales plans and personal goals, coaching to maximize business.
- Network within the community to efficiently fill open positions.
- Conduct ongoing performance reviews and assessments.
- Communicate the Kate Spade brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
- Ensure brand and operating standards are met for brand consistency.
- Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain store presentation standards.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with maintaining payroll budgets and managing schedules.
- Monitor and follow company policies with a focus on loss prevention.
- Accurately manage POS transactions to maintain inventory integrity.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in a comparable retail environment.
- College degree preferred.
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred.
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication abilities.
- Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.
- Decision-making and conflict mediation skills.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Minimum of 3 years in a management role within a comparable retail environment, preferably with luxury goods experience.
College degree preferred.
