- Develop business-driving initiatives to build repeat business and attract new customers.
- Communicate and achieve store productivity targets, including sales per hour, average dollar transaction, and unit per transaction.
- Ensure all associates complete sales training and develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training processes to ensure the highest level of customer service and sales.
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving financial success through measurable results that positively impact store performance.
- Assume the Store Manager role in their absence and lead by example to achieve personal sales goals.
- Educate the team on sales plans and personal goals, and coach to ensure business is maximized.
- Network within the community to fill open positions efficiently with minimal business impact.
- Conduct ongoing reviews and assessments of employee performance.
- Communicate merchandise sell-through, stock position, business trends, product issues, and customer feedback to the Store Manager to enhance customer service and sales.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds and completing bank deposits.
- Assist the Store Manager in maintaining payroll budget by managing schedules and making necessary adjustments.
- Monitor and follow company policies and procedures with a focus on loss prevention.
- Manage the processing of all POS transactions to maintain inventory integrity.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in a comparable retail environment.
- College degree preferred.
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred.
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.
- Comfortable making decisions and mediating conflict within a team environment.
- Proficient in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
A minimum of three years of management experience in a comparable retail environment is required, with a preference for experience in luxury goods.
College degree preferred.
Base pay range from $22.50 to $37.25 per hour.
