- Develop clientele through coaching team on proactive client outreach and relationship building.
- Partner with Store Leader to create business-driving initiatives that cultivate repeat business and attract new customers.
- Ensure associates utilize client books effectively to boost sales through regular reviews and outreach evaluations.
- Supervise and model the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training to ensure top-tier customer service.
- Assist Store Leader in achieving financial success by improving measurable results impacting store performance.
- Assume Store Leader responsibilities in their absence.
- Lead by example in achieving personal sales goals and educate team on sales plans and goals.
- Network within the community to efficiently fill open positions with minimal business disruption.
- Conduct ongoing performance reviews and assessments of employees.
- Communicate the Kate Spade brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
- Ensure brand and operating standards are met and visual merchandising directives are implemented.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including financial transactions and facility security.
- Assist in maintaining payroll budget through effective scheduling and adjustments.
- Monitor and enforce company policies, focusing on loss prevention to protect inventory and assets.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in a comparable retail environment.
- College degree preferred.
- Prior experience in luxury goods preferred.
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication across all organizational levels.
- Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.
- Decision-making and conflict mediation skills in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
A minimum of 3 years in a management role within a comparable retail environment, preferably with luxury goods experience.
College degree preferred.
