1. Develop and implement business initiatives to drive repeat and new customer engagement.
2. Achieve and communicate store productivity targets, including sales per hour and capture rate.
3. Ensure completion of sales training programs and cultivate strong product knowledge across all categories.
4. Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching to ensure exceptional customer service.
5. Assist the Store Manager in achieving financial success through measurable improvements in store performance.
6. Assume the Store Manager role in their absence, leading by example with personal sales goals.
7. Educate the team on sales plans and personal goals, coaching to maximize business outcomes.
8. Network within the community to efficiently fill open positions with minimal business impact.
9. Conduct ongoing employee performance reviews and assessments.
10. Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
11. Ensure brand and operating standards are met to maintain brand consistency.
12. Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain store presentation standards.
13. Communicate merchandise sell-through and business trends to the Store Manager to enhance customer service and sales.
14. Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including financial transactions and securing the facility.
15. Assist in maintaining the payroll budget by managing schedules and making necessary adjustments.
16. Monitor and adhere to company policies and procedures, focusing on loss prevention.
17. Accurately manage POS transactions to maintain inventory integrity.
