- Develop business-driving initiatives to build repeat business and attract new customers.
- Communicate and achieve store productivity targets.
- Ensure all associates complete sales training and develop strong product knowledge.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching.
- Assist Store Manager with achieving financial success through measurable results.
- Assume Store Manager role in their absence.
- Lead by example in achieving personal sales goals.
- Educate team on sales plans and personal goals.
- Network in the community to fill open positions efficiently.
- Conduct ongoing review and assessment of employee performance.
- Communicate the Kate Spade brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
- Ensure brand and operating standards are met.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with maintaining payroll budget and managing schedules.
- Monitor and follow company policies with a focus on loss prevention.
- Minimum 3 years management experience in a comparable retail environment.
- College degree preferred.
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred.
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.
- Comfortable making decisions and mediating conflict.
- Proficient in Windows-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Minimum 3 years management experience in a comparable retail environment.
