- Develop business-driving initiatives to build repeat business and attract new customers.
- Communicate and achieve store productivity targets, including sales per hour, average dollar transaction, units per transaction, and capture rate.
- Ensure all associates and leadership complete the sales training program and develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on the sales training process to ensure the highest level of customer service and sales.
- Assist Store Manager in achieving financial success through improved measurable results that positively impact store performance.
- Assume the Store Manager role in their absence.
- Lead by example in achieving personal sales goals.
- Educate team on sales plans, personal goals, and measurable stats, and coach to these stats to maximize business.
- Network within the community to ensure open positions are filled efficiently with minimal business impact.
- Conduct ongoing reviews and assessments of employee performance.
- Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers.
- Ensure brand and operating standards are met to support brand consistency.
- Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain store presentation standards.
- Communicate merchandise sell-through, stock position, business trend information, product issues, and customer feedback to the Store Manager to enhance customer service and sales.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, and securing the facility.
- Assist Store Manager in maintaining payroll budget by managing schedules and making necessary adjustments.
- Monitor and follow company policies and procedures with a focus on loss prevention to protect inventory and assets.
- Accurately manage the processing of all POS transactions to maintain inventory integrity.
- Proficiency in retail management and operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to network and recruit efficiently within the community.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in sales training and coaching.

Previous experience in retail management is required, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals and leading a team.
