Kate Spade Assistant Buyer

1. Run reports to recap style selling and assist Buyer in analyzing results.
2. Assist the buying team during market with assortment planning for omni channels and enter orders in JOOR system.
3. Partner with site and photo teams to launch products online and ensure product accuracy.
4. Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop and refine seasonal line architecture.
5. Support buyer with visual recaps, boards, and line lists.
6. Execute and track inventory movements/purchase orders, identifying lateness and potential sales risk.
7. Ensure all markdowns and promotions are properly entered in the system.
8. Support the buyer with hindsight preparation for internal merchandising meetings.
9. Shop the marketplace to identify product opportunities, pricing strategies, trends, and offerings.
10. Participate in meetings.

1. 1+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, and/or planning roles.
2. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
3. Previous omni channel experience is a plus.

5. Strong presentation, listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
6. Ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams.
7. High level of proficiency in retail math and Excel.

1+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, and/or planning roles. Previous omni channel experience is a plus.

Base pay range $58,000.00 to $70,000.00
