- Transform development patterns into industrialized formats for mass production.
- Utilize Procam software to generate files for in-house acrylic pattern creation via laser cutting and direct cutting on automated machines.
- Produce bulk tooling such as stitch-marking patterns and dies.
- Oversee initial sample production, troubleshooting and refining patterns as necessary.
- Enhance factory efficiency by optimizing product engineering for new and existing styles.
- Digitally archive engineered styles for future preservation.
- Collaborate with the Development Team during early stages of the product development cycle.
- Generate CAD patterns and assist in the grading of bulk patterns and tooling.
- Conduct initial trials to test patterns and resolve production issues.
- Participate in fit sessions, providing constructive feedback.
- Set up made-to-order products, including bill of materials and work tickets.
- Organize paperwork and feedback for wear trials.
- Perform additional duties as reasonably assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar technical role, preferably within the shoe industry.
- Proficiency with CADCAM software specific to the shoe industry, with a preference for Procam Dimensions.
- Formal qualifications in Fashion or Footwear are advantageous but not mandatory.
- SAFT qualification is beneficial but not required.
- Positive attitude and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in specialized software packages and Excel.
- Strong planning skills and organizational acumen.
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Calm demeanor under pressure.
- High standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A minimum of 2 years in a technical role within the shoe industry, with experience in CADCAM software.
Formal qualifications in Fashion or Footwear preferred but not essential.
