John Lobb Finishing Room Operative

- Work as part of a team and individually to meet daily and weekly targets while ensuring high-quality standards.
- Train on machines and production processes across the production area, including cross-departmental tasks when applicable.
- Prioritize work to meet production needs.
- Adapt daily workload to accommodate exceptional events such as urgent requests, machine breakdowns, or material shortages, and communicate with the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Liaise with the Team Leader or Supervisor to address specific quality or production issues.
- Ensure departmental machinery and equipment are in good working order and report any issues to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Train others once fully trained.
- Previous experience in the shoe industry or similar is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivation and ability to work in a small team.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Responsible and conscientious attitude.
- Calmness under pressure.
- Decision-making skills.
- Accuracy in recording data.
- Ability to respect confidential company or personal information.
Previous experience in the shoe industry or similar is an advantage.
