Jaeger LeCoultre Data Engineering Intern

- Conduct an in-depth analysis of the existing Cognos-based solution, documenting its architecture, data flows, and limitations.
- Engage with key users to gather requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Propose solutions to optimize and modernize the current Business Intelligence solution.
- Design and develop robust and efficient data ingestion pipelines using Talend.
- Create data architecture on GCP BigQuery.
- Implement complex data transformations using the dbt framework, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Design and develop interactive and intuitive dashboards on Looker, addressing user needs.
- Establish relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) for activity monitoring.
- Maintain and evolve dashboards to meet changing business needs.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering.
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance data processes.
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Engineering program with a focus on Data Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL language.
- Proficiency in data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
- Interest in data processing and storage technologies such as Talend, BigQuery, dbt, and Looker.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Autonomous, curious, rigorous, and possesses a strong initiative.
No prior professional experience required, but a strong academic background in data science and engineering is essential.
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering or Data Science.
