IWC Indirect Procurement Intern

- Support the indirect procurement team in day-to-day sourcing activities for non-production categories (services, MRO, IT, facilities, marketing).
- Prepare and analyse supplier quotes, RFx documentation and vendor proposals to inform sourcing decisions.
- Maintain and update procurement records, supplier databases and contract documentation in the procurement system.
- Support purchase order processing and follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
- Perform spend analysis and contribute to cost-savings initiatives by identifying opportunities within indirect categories.
- Assist with supplier onboarding, evaluations and performance tracking, including basic supplier risk checks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Finance, Legal, Operations, IT) to align procurement activities with business requirements.
- Contribute to procurement projects and process-improvement initiatives, preparing presentations and status reports for stakeholders.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Business Administration, Supply Chain / Procurement, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrable ability to manipulate and interpret data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- High level of organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP or procurement platforms is advantageous.
- Proactive mindset, curiosity for procurement strategy and a collaborative, service-oriented attitude.

Previous internship experience or practical project work in procurement, supply chain, operations or a related function is advantageous but not mandatory; academic coursework or case-work demonstrating analytical capability and commercial awareness is valued.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain/Procurement, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
