IWC Architectural Concepts Intern

IWC Schaffhausen is a Swiss luxury watchmaker renowned for engineering precision and disciplined design. 1. Support the Architectural Concepts team in the development of design proposals for boutiques, exhibitions and corporate facilities.
2. Produce CAD drawings, 3D models and photorealistic renderings to communicate spatial concepts and material strategies.
3. Prepare presentation documentation including mood boards, layouts, technical drawings and cost-conscious design options.
4. Conduct research into materials, finishes, fixtures and lighting solutions suited to luxury retail and brand environments.
5. Assist with project coordination: file management, specification tracking, liaison with external architects, suppliers and contractors.
6. Contribute to physical model-making, prototyping and on-site documentation when required.
7. Participate in design reviews and incorporate technical and brand feedback into iterative design proposals.

1. Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a closely related design discipline.
2. A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, technical drawing and 3D representation skills.
3. Proven competence in producing presentation-ready graphics and documentation.
4. Organized, proactive and able to manage multiple small tasks in a fast-paced, design-led environment.
5. Legal authorization to intern and work in Switzerland for the duration of the placement.

Preferably 0–1 year of practical experience through previous internships or academic projects in architecture or interior design; prior exposure to retail, exhibition or luxury-brand environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or equivalent.
