Hermès Product Industrialization Technician — Men's Ready-to-Wear

- Manage the technical industrialization of assigned men's ready‑to‑wear categories (knitwear, jersey and trousers) from prototype to production launch.
- Prepare, update and maintain detailed technical dossiers and production nomenclature for manufacturers and quality control providers.
- Participate in collection presentations and collaborate closely with the Studio and product managers to gather specifications for PLM records, sourcing anticipation and cost calculation.
- Coordinate and conduct fittings and standardization sessions; launch and validate counter‑samples and approve heads of production for release to manufacture.
- Work onsite with manufacturers to identify production issues, escalate to management, and define corrective actions jointly with Materials and Finished Goods Quality teams.
- Develop and maintain long‑term partnerships with suppliers and subcontractors, including occasional on‑site visits to French and Italian production sites.
- Ensure compliance with Hermès quality standards for men's ready‑to‑wear and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report regularly to management on dossier status and adherence to production schedules and commercial timelines.
- Handle administrative aspects of industrialization: purchase orders, invoicing, management of collection sample inventory and loaned production duplicates.
- Minimum 8 years' professional experience in industrialization/technical development within a comparable high‑end apparel environment.
- Proven technical expertise in garment development and strong product sensibility specific to knitwear, jersey and tailored trousers.
- Demonstrated experience preparing technical packs, conducting fittings and validating counter‑samples through to production launch.
- Fluency in Italian; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Ability to travel occasionally to manufacturing sites in France and Italy.
- Highly organised, methodical and precise with strong prioritisation skills and respect for production deadlines.

A minimum of eight years' experience in industrialization or technical product development within the luxury or premium apparel sector, with hands‑on responsibility for product launch and supplier management.
Degree or diploma in fashion technology, textile engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent vocational training with strong technical apparel competencies.
