Hermès Management Control Intern

Hermès Distribution France is the retail division of Hermès Sellier, operating a network of boutiques and a dedicated e‑commerce site to present the maison’s creations across its métiers. The division upholds Hermès’s artisanal heritage and high standards of craftsmanship while combining modern retail practices and a commitment to ethical, inclusive employment.

1. Support the Finance Department and report to the Head of Management Control for Hermès Distribution France.
2. Prepare and distribute reliable financial information and reporting for the division and for group consolidation.
3. Monitor French sales performance and contribute to daily, weekly and monthly reporting for the Executive Committee, Management Committee and store directors.
4. Participate in budget consolidation by store and by product during the annual budgeting cycle.
5. Feed actual and forward-looking data into the group reporting tool (Magnitude).
6. Investigate purchase variances between the management system and accounting records and analyse supplier credit notes following returns.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting formats, processes and BI dashboards.

1. Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, Management Control or a closely related discipline.
2. Strong numerical aptitude and affinity for business intelligence tools.
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel.
4. Methodical, rigorous and well organised; able to manage recurring reporting deadlines.

Open to early‑career candidates and students; previous internship experience in finance or reporting is a plus but not required (Beginners accepted).

Enrolled in a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, Management Control or related field.
