Hermès Industrial Project Engineer

- Contribute to the full lifecycle of production machinery projects: needs identification, specification, design follow-up and on-site commissioning.
- Draft technical specifications (cahiers des charges) for the procurement of special-purpose machines and participate in supplier selection and coordination.
- Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders (production, purchasing, quality) and external partners (design offices, machine manufacturers).
- Participate in design reviews, validate functional analyses and ensure suppliers integrate feedback from production experience.
- Assist during integration, assembly and pre-acceptance testing phases; organise on-site installations and ensure successful equipment start-up.
- Support production teams during ramp-up, track milestones, monitor schedules and manage technical contingencies.
- Acquire and document specific machine process knowledge related to textile accessory printing (table printing, frame and colour setup, fabric handling and cutting).
- Travel between HTH production sites in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region as required.
- Currently enrolled in an engineering programme (generalist engineering degree) with a mechanical specialisation.
- Proficiency in CAD software: SolidWork and Autocad.
- Basic knowledge of robotics and industrial automation (automatisme) applied to production machinery.
- First industrial exposure (internship or academic project) is an advantage.
- Professional attributes: rigour, curiosity, hands-on engagement, service orientation and ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

Entry-level — apprenticeship open to candidates with little to no professional experience; previous internships or project work in an industrial/manufacturing environment are a plus.
Pursuing a generalist engineering degree with a mechanical focus (diplôme d'ingénieur, spécialisation mécanique).
