Hennessy R&D Project Assistant Intern

- Conduct laboratory work with a focus on handling and manipulation under the guidance of a project manager.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary techniques and processes.
- Engage in a three-part internship structure: initiation, research, and report writing.
- Familiarize with the cognac production process, analytical techniques (GC, GC-MS, ICP, titrimetry), and laboratory quality systems.
- Prepare samples and conduct sorption or filtration tests, including physico-chemical analyses.
- Present research findings to the R&D team and perform autonomous testing under supervision.
- Prepare for and manage subcontracting tasks related to food safety.
- Draft a comprehensive report and prepare for an oral defense, emphasizing meticulous preparation and presentation skills.
