Hennessy Assistant Supervisor of Tours and Tastings

- Structure and update the knowledge base on Hennessy’s history, heritage, expertise, markets, and products to coordinate training programs for seasonal staff and various roles including boatmen, VR operators, guides, and tasting preparers.
- Coordinate special tours such as private visits, bespoke programs, group/tour operators, and press receptions, and train the team accordingly.
- Generate reports and KPIs for private visits.
- Participate in the development of new tour experiences and enhance current offerings.
- Mentor and support guides and tour managers.
- In the absence of the Supervisor of Tours and Tastings, coordinate and act as the point of reference for the Tours and Tastings team.
- Coordinate Hennessy tour activities during weekdays and weekends, including occasional weekend and holiday duties.
- Provide support to the Tours & Tastings team as needed, including preparation of tastings and conducting tours.
- Ensure compliance with collaboration frameworks, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
- Manage stock of tasting ingredients and supply of tasting bites.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service.
- Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Retail, such as a Professional License or Master’s degree.
- Fluency in French and English, with additional languages being advantageous.
- Recognized for excellent interpersonal skills, customer relations, and business development acumen.
- Availability and flexibility, with the ability to work one Saturday out of three on average.
- Demonstrated rigor and confidentiality, particularly with private clientele.
- Teamwork-oriented with strong communication skills and professionalism.
- Previous experience in management or coordination is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally within a wine/viticulture property or in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Retail.
The role requires wearing a uniform and involves working some weekends and public holidays due to the tourist nature of the activity. Vacation during peak season (July-August) may be subject to specific rules but remains possible.
