1. Participate in the entire process of crafting and repairing oak barrels for cognac aging under the guidance of a mentor.
2. Select and shape staves through bending and dressing.
3. Assemble barrels including fitting, temporary hooping, and final hooping with iron bands.
4. Conduct fire heating for permanent bending and perform finishing touches such as sanding and deburring.
5. Diagnose and repair damaged barrels, including replacing defective staves and fixing leaks.
6. Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality protocols.
7. Perform basic maintenance of tools and equipment.

1. CAP/BEP/Bac Pro or equivalent in a relevant field.
2. Interest in manual trades and woodworking.
3. Attention to detail and precision.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
5. Strong observational skills and willingness to learn.

No prior experience required, although previous exposure to artisanal crafts is advantageous.
