Guerlain Central Cost Control Manager

- Supervise and ensure the monitoring and control of Central Costs alongside a junior controller.
- Guarantee the accuracy of financial data within systems and alignment of management tools with departmental objectives.
- Act as a Business Partner to the Executive Committee, ensuring optimal resource allocation and defending budgets with rigorous data analysis.
- Participate in annual budget construction, revisions, and planning, challenging assumptions and operational needs.
- Monitor monthly expenses against budget, analyze variances, and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct regular forecasts to anticipate budget deviations.
- Perform in-depth cost analyses, identify optimization opportunities, and propose action plans.
- Evaluate investment requests and projects for profitability and cost impact.
- Establish relevant performance indicators (KPIs) for cost monitoring.
- Coordinate with HR to monitor payroll.
- Oversee monthly closing activities in collaboration with operations and accounting.
- Prepare clear and concise monthly reports for financial and operational management.
- Maintain and enhance reporting tools and dashboards using advanced Excel, BI tools, and ERP.
- Propose improvements for management control tools and processes.
- Master's degree in Management or Finance from a university or business school.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in external audit, consolidation/reporting, and management control.
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and synthesis capability.
- Curiosity, organization, autonomy, and rigor.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and respect for data confidentiality.
- Dynamic, proactive, and innovative in improving management and integrating new projects.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in external audit, consolidation/reporting, and management control is required.
Master's degree in Management or Finance.
