Guerlain Area Sales Manager (Field Sales) - Contract

- Drive sell‑out growth within the assigned territory and achieve commercial targets set by the France leadership.
- Plan and execute regular store visits and sales days in accordance with the regional calendar; ensure visit frequency across clusters on non‑selling days.
- Develop strong commercial relationships with key accounts and store teams to activate in‑store initiatives, negotiate local challenges and secure premium merchandising positions.
- Coordinate and follow up on retailer activations in collaboration with head office teams (trade marketing, merchandising) and local commercial referents.
- Conduct business reviews at each store visit, analysing sell‑out, market share, ranking by category, stock levels and average transaction values to identify opportunities and risks.
- Ensure availability of products (launches and core ranges), escalate out‑of‑stocks and deliver product training to retail teams on launches, bestsellers and the Maison’s brand DNA.
- Apply and enforce merchandising directives (planogram compliance, visual display standards) to maintain a 'zero‑defect' presentation of the Guerlain experience in points of sale.
- Represent Guerlain’s brand image in‑store through impeccable personal presentation, brand knowledge and client‑centric communication.
- First successful professional experience in specialised retail or cosmetics distribution; demonstrable field or store‑based experience preferred.
- Proven commercial orientation with sound knowledge of retail KPIs, sell‑out analysis and negotiation techniques.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan territory visits and prioritise actions.
- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills; ability to synthesize and report business information clearly.
- Driver’s license (permis B) and willingness to travel across the assigned departments; availability for sales days on Fridays and Saturdays.

Entry‑level / junior field role requiring a first successful professional experience in specialised retail or cosmetics distribution; proven exposure to in‑store sales or field visits is expected.
High school diploma (Baccalauréat) or equivalent; tertiary studies in business, commerce or luxury retail are advantageous.
