Guerlain Area Retail Manager

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan and sales strategy to achieve company sales goals and profitability.
- Implement strategies to enhance both sell-in and sell-out performance.
- Ensure all accounts meet inventory and assortment requirements.
- Conduct market analysis to anticipate developments and identify new opportunities, including account openings and space improvements.
- Recommend distribution changes based on performance, brand image, and compliance with brand standards.
- Monitor competition and market trends, communicating competitive promotional activities.
- Regularly visit key account clients, with 40% to 50% of time spent traveling.
- Negotiate inventory solutions and monitor client targets.
- Ensure compliance of locations, negotiating spaces and reviewing architectural plans.
- Negotiate advertising, promotional investments, and margins.
- Manage P&L for accounts, establishing sales and investment budgets.
- Monitor sell-in and sell-out activities, ensuring achievement of sales objectives and budgets.
- Coordinate financial reporting and regularly review budgets with finance.
- Negotiate and implement marketing plans for International Travel Retail markets.
- Check profitability of marketing actions and forecast collateral needs for promotions.
- Build and lead a team of Beauty Consultants, conducting monthly meetings to review targets and incentives.
- Source, hire, develop, and retain talent.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in retail or business development.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic and French is advantageous.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in retail sales techniques and business development.
- Expertise in merchandising, including cleanliness, stock rotation, and inventory management.
- Solid understanding of business commercials and P&L exposure.
- Leadership and people management skills, with experience in building effective teams.
- Service-oriented mindset with attention to detail and continuous improvement.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail or business development.
