- Drive sales development and brand equity across Japan Travel Retail, ensuring the achievement of sales, market share, and profitability targets.
- Implement brand plans in alignment with corporate guidelines, maintaining operational excellence and brand integrity.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key Travel Retail clients, providing exceptional service to build lasting partnerships.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for profitable growth in key retail locations.
- Negotiate trade terms, including space, location, assortment, and pricing, ensuring all legal contracts are signed and accurately mapped.
- Provide monthly sell-out reports and market insights.
- Manage and analyze P&L, preparing presentations for top management and conducting monthly expense and profitability reviews.
- Lead a team of retail professionals, fostering strategic relationships with accounts and driving retailer insights.
- Ensure the execution of marketing, merchandising, and retail strategies, including the implementation of 360 launch plans and retailtainment strategies.
- Coordinate E-Retail strategy execution, aligning with Guerlain HQ processes and ensuring timely campaign execution.
- Develop and implement a selective and productive distribution strategy for the country.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the luxury retail sector.
- Proven track record in sales development and brand management.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and drive profitability.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in coordinating cross-functional teams and projects.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Japanese is highly desirable.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury retail sector is required.
