Gucci Women Leather Goods Product Assistant

- Review and manage the distribution of product samples to appropriate teams, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Coordinate all stages of product development from concept to delivery.
- Assist the Women’s Leather Goods Design Director in preparing project overviews.
- Organize and prepare for reviews with the Artistic Director, ensuring all samples and documents are ready and accessible.
- Maintain records of sketches, samples, and prototypes in digital and physical archives.
- Ensure accurate recording and sharing of information across departments using online tools.
- Handle inter-departmental requests efficiently and promptly.
- Liaise with Gucci ArtLab and Merchandising for prototyping and sample development follow-ups.
- Coordinate and participate in fittings from prototype to final product delivery.
- Assist in costing activities for raw materials, prototypes, and finished products.
- Manage product shipments, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures.
- Support design team in research and rental activities, including managing invoices and rental deadlines.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Leather Goods.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with partners at all levels.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on Leather Goods being advantageous.
