Vice President of Communications

1. Lead, direct, mentor, and build the Japan Communications team.
2. Develop, communicate, implement, and drive short and long-term brand strategies.
3. Partner with key internal stakeholders to ensure strategies align with brand priorities and business objectives.
4. Identify new opportunities for brand alignment with strategic partners and new media opportunities.
5. Collaborate with global HQ to execute strategic Global Marketing and communications plans.
6. Oversee the Japan Communications budget, ensuring effective spending and accountability.
7. Manage relationships with media partners to drive earned and paid media value.
8. Oversee brand and culture engagement activities, aligning with social good strategies.
9. Oversee special events activities to drive business results and brand communication.
10. Partner with Entertainment Industry global leadership for storytelling and resource alignment.
11. Collaborate with the VP Client Engagement for integrated brand communication strategies.
12. Work with the SVP Retail to drive client behavior and business ambitions.
13. Support President, CPO, and executive leadership with corporate and internal communications.
14. Participate in the Japan Crisis Committee for crisis communications.
15. Member of the Gucci Japan Executive Committee for strategic prioritization and goal achievement.
16. Travel domestically for market visits and events.

Extensive experience in communications, preferably within the luxury fashion industry, with a proven track record of leading and developing successful communication strategies.
