Gucci Vice President of Communications

- Lead and mentor the Japan Communications team, fostering professional growth and development.
- Develop and implement both short-term and long-term brand strategies that align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various channels to ensure strategic alignment with brand priorities.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for brand alignment and strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate with global headquarters to execute strategic global marketing and communications plans, ensuring effective implementation in Japan.
- Manage the Japan Communications budget to ensure effective spending and accountability.
- Cultivate relationships with media partners to drive earned and paid media value and innovation.
- Oversee brand and culture engagement activities, ensuring alignment with the brand's social good strategy.
- Plan and execute special events that drive business results and enhance brand communication.
- Collaborate with global entertainment industry leadership to leverage storytelling and brand assets.
- Work with the VP Client Engagement to maximize the impact of brand communication strategies.
- Partner with the SVP Retail to influence client behavior and achieve business goals.
- Support executive leadership with corporate and internal communications.
- Participate in the Japan Crisis Committee, providing input on sensitive issues and leading crisis communications.
- Engage with the Gucci Japan Executive Committee to prioritize company initiatives and achieve strategic goals.
- Travel domestically for market visits and events.
- Proven leadership experience in communications within the luxury fashion industry.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with media and strategic partners.
