- Oversee the organization and maintenance of the stockroom, ensuring compliance with Gucci's directives and procedures.
- Enhance storage and stock control systems, recommending improvements for stockroom layout and organization.
- Manage the flow of goods between stockrooms and the shop floor, ensuring efficient arrangement and replenishment of articles.
- Coordinate the supply and organization of packaging materials and shop floor consumables.
- Receive and verify weekly deliveries, addressing any discrepancies with inventory control and store management.
- Ensure accurate stock placement and accessibility, adhering to company procedures.
- Conduct administrative tasks related to inventory management, including paperwork processing and electronic maintenance of stock records.
- Perform regular stock takes, investigating discrepancies and reporting findings to store management.
- Identify and manage faulty stock, liaising with suppliers for repairs in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with sales teams, visual merchandisers, and the press department to meet client demands and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Proven experience in a similar role with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with personnel at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Expertise in inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Multilingual abilities, with English being advantageous.
- Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving capabilities.
Previous experience in stock management or a related field is required, with a focus on logistics and inventory control.
