Gucci Stock Controller

- Oversee the physical organization of the stockroom, ensuring it is orderly and merchandise is stored efficiently in line with Gucci directives.
- Enhance storage and stock control systems, suggesting improvements for stockroom layout and organization.
- Supervise the movement of goods between stockrooms and the shop floor, ensuring proper arrangement of articles.
- Manage the organization and replenishment of all packaging materials, including bags, garment covers, and tissue paper.
- Ensure shop floor consumables are stocked by placing regular orders with suppliers.
- Receive weekly deliveries, verify stock against invoices, and report discrepancies to inventory control and store management.
- Unpack deliveries and store stock in appropriate locations, ensuring accessibility and compliance with company procedures.
- Process paperwork and administrative tasks related to inventory management.
- Ensure replenishment is carried out as needed and maintain stock levels according to client demand.
- Coordinate with inventory control on deliveries, stock transfers, stock takes, and returns to vendors.
- Manage consignment processes and return to vendor procedures at the end of each season.
- Prepare markdowns before sale periods, separating carryover items from markdown merchandise.
- Conduct full and mini stock takes, investigate discrepancies, and report findings to the store manager.
- Identify and manage faulty stock, liaising with suppliers and maintaining records of repairs.
- Support internal departments, including sales, visual merchandising, and press, to ensure optimal stock levels and client satisfaction.
- Proven experience in a similar role with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interfacing with personnel at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong inventory management skills with the ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.

- Teamwork and communication skills.
Previous experience in a stock control or inventory management role within a retail environment is required.
