1. Oversee the physical organization of the stockroom, ensuring it is orderly and merchandise is stored efficiently in line with Gucci directives.
2. Enhance storage and stock control systems, suggesting improvements for stockroom layout and organization.
3. Supervise the movement of goods between stockrooms and the shop floor, ensuring proper arrangement of articles.
4. Manage the organization and replenishment of all packaging materials, including bags, garment covers, and tissue paper.
5. Ensure shop floor consumables are stocked by placing regular orders with suppliers.
6. Receive weekly deliveries, verify stock against invoices, and report discrepancies to inventory control and store management.
7. Unpack deliveries and store stock in appropriate locations, ensuring accessibility and compliance with company procedures.
8. Process paperwork and administrative tasks related to inventory management.
9. Ensure replenishment is carried out as needed and maintain stock levels according to client demand.
10. Coordinate with inventory control on deliveries, stock transfers, stock takes, and returns to vendors.
11. Manage consignment processes and return to vendor procedures at the end of each season.
12. Prepare markdowns before sale periods, separating carryover items from markdown merchandise.
13. Conduct full and mini stock takes, investigate discrepancies, and report findings to the store manager.
14. Identify and manage faulty stock, liaising with suppliers and maintaining records of repairs.
15. Support internal departments, including sales, visual merchandising, and press, to ensure optimal stock levels and client satisfaction.

1. Proven experience in a similar role with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands.
2. Excellent communication skills, capable of interfacing with personnel at all levels.

Previous experience in a stock control or inventory management role within a retail environment is required.
