Gucci Stock Controller

- Manage stockroom organization, ensuring tidiness and efficient storage of merchandise in line with Gucci directives.
- Improve storage and stock control systems, suggesting enhancements for stockroom layout and organization.
- Supervise the flow of goods between stockrooms and the shop floor, ensuring proper arrangement and replenishment of articles.
- Oversee the organization and replenishment of packaging materials and shop floor consumables.
- Receive and verify weekly deliveries, addressing discrepancies with inventory control and store management.
- Unpack deliveries and allocate stock to appropriate locations, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Process administrative tasks related to inventory management, including paperwork and electronic maintenance of stock allocations.
- Conduct full and mini stock takes, investigating discrepancies and reporting findings to store management.
- Identify and manage faulty stock, liaising with suppliers for repairs and maintaining appropriate documentation.
- Collaborate with sales teams, visual merchandisers, and the press department to meet client demands and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Previous experience in a similar role with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands.
- Proficiency in inventory management and reconciliation of stock counts to report data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Multilingual capabilities, particularly in English, are advantageous.
Previous experience in inventory management and stock control within a retail environment is required.
