Gucci Senior Operations Controller

- Oversee the stockroom to ensure accurate inventory management and prioritize client service support.
- Execute and manage the shipping and receiving processes, addressing any issues in collaboration with the Store Director or Operations Manager.
- Ensure timely merchandise movement in alignment with company procedures, including transfers, RTVs, and damages.
- Maintain an organized store inventory through cycle counts and scheduled inventories, ensuring reconciliation with guidance from the Store Director or Operations Manager.
- Contribute ideas to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the sales team in delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Manage merchandise printing, ticketing, returns, and price adjustments.
- Process repairs and damages promptly according to company guidelines.
- Assist with the boutique's physical maintenance as required.
- Adhere to Gucci standards in packing, handling, and storing merchandise.
- Participate in store initiatives and projects as needed.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience, preferably in luxury or contemporary sectors.
- Supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in retail or service-related industries.
- Strong analytical skills for business prioritization and problem-solving.
- High integrity and strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with retail systems and shipping software.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting boxes.
- Team-oriented mindset.
A minimum of 2-3 years in retail, with a preference for luxury or contemporary experience. Supervisory experience is a plus.
The salary range for this position in Sacramento, California, is estimated between $24/hr USD and $27/hr USD, depending on various factors such as experience and geographic location.
Eligible employees may participate in medical, dental, vision, and 401K plans, as well as receive paid time off (PTO). An incentive program is also available, subject to performance criteria.
